Any direct access client, solicitor, corporate or other professional is welcome to contact our commercial director for a quotation for any of our services. Fees are based on a number of factors, including hourly rates, the nature of the work required, and the time required to complete the work.  Timescales for completion will depend on our barristers' availability which is dependent upon their current professional and personal commitments. The most commonly used pricing models for advisory work are hourly rates, capped or fixed fees and if you have a budget in mind, please discuss this with our commercial director at the earliest opportunity.

 

For hearings we usually agree a fixed brief fee prior to the start date. All fees will be subject to VAT, where chargeable.

Cerulean provides its services to solicitors and licensed access clients on the terms set out in the attachment to our standard client care letter for solicitors and licensed access clients which may be downloaded here.

Cerulean provides its services to corporate and private individuals under the BSB Public Access Scheme (see the BSB guidance here) on terms that are to be agreed but based upon the terms set out in our client care letter which can be
downloaded by clicking here.

 

Here is a link to the Barristers’ Register maintained by the Bar Standards Board. The Register shows (1) who has a current practising certificate, and (2) whether a barrister has any disciplinary findings, which are published on the Barristers’ Register in accordance with Board’s policy
